I have tried 4 combo machines, this one looks the best. It is manual, without a clock or timer. This is good for me bc I use it with a smart switch and can tell Alexa to turn on the coffee maker and its ready when I get downstairs. On the flip side, without a clock you cannot program a start time, you have to remember. But a coffee maker with a timer cannot be used with a smart switch because it loses all the settings when it power is turned off. Espresso works great, you can even program the size (amount) that comes out. You do however have to fill the reservoir BEFORE the espresso filter attachment because it will not come out with the wand there. It wont fit a standard size mug, you'll need a short carafe or cup. Also it seems like its made by a left handed designer (seriously), you have to pour the water for the coffee maker from the left side because of the way the door opens, which is awkward for me. Same left handed access for adding the coffee grounds. Overall I love it though.

Easy to use and efficient
This espresso machine has truly transformed our mornings. I love coffee, and my husband prefers his with a stronger kick. The heating element has burnt out.
Very easy to use, but only worked for six months.

We purchased insurance for 3 years.
Amazon told me to contact seller support.
Contacted seller support.
If you send the coffee machine there and then back, the amount will be almost the same as the cost of a new machine.
And, if they decide that the breakdown is not subject to warranty, then you need to pay for repairs.
We talked and agreed that they would send us a separate heating element if we could install it ourselves.
We agreed, received a new element, my husband installed it himself, and the coffee maker started working again.
And I worked for another 2 months - and burned out again.
Therefore, I do not recommend this coffee machine as it is completely unreliable and will quickly break down.
Just one day the area with the coffee container into which the coffee drips during production will stop heating.
By the way, the part where express coffee is brewed worked all the time.
If you only drink espresso, then you don’t care about the second part of the machine.
But then you don't need such a big two-piece machine.
We just threw it away.
