Product Description
THE BEST HIGH CAFFEINE WHITE COFFEE

- WHAT IS WHITE COFFEE: White Coffee is coffee beans that are half roasted, and ground up using a commercial grade grinder. This results in a yellowish bean color vs. the deep browns regular coffee drinkers are used to. White coffee has more caffeine per scoop because it is much more dense. Many people report that white coffee has an unusual taste with earthy notes and nutty undertones. Read through our white coffee reviews for the range of opinions on this coffee trend!
- HOW IS WHITE COFFEE MADE?: White Coffee is made by roasting coffee beans at a lower temperature and for half of the time that regular coffee is roasted. White Coffee is half-baked! To be more specific, White Coffee is roasted to around 325 Degrees whereas fully roasted coffee is roasted to anywhere from 450 Degrees to 480 Degrees.
- BENEFITS OF WHITE COFFEE: White Coffee has up 50% more caffeine than fully-roasted coffee. It has a very nutty flavor that blends well with all the same creamers and flavors that fully-roasted coffee does. Some people report that White Coffee has a bolder coffee flavor than black coffee. How to Brew White Coffee at Home

We have done extensive testing on how to brew white coffee properly and what equipment yields the best white coffee results. Our goal with this advice is to save our customers time in experimentation and to improve the quality of our first-time purchasers' home brewing experience.
Espresso Machines yield the best white coffee results. They are by far the most expensive option and, although you can get home machines for under 100, the old saying "you get what you pay for" applies. Do your research and find a machine that fits your budget and your needs.
Another trick that our owner's daughter does to tone down the earthy, nutty white coffee flavors is mix in some regular coffee when you brew it. You get the kick from the white coffee but the unique taste of it is blended a bit with the toasty taste of regular dark roast coffee.
STEPS TO BREW WHITE COFFEE WITH AN ESPRESSO MACHINE
Fill the portafilter with the appropriate amount of ground white coffee – 7 grams for a single shot and 15 grams for a double shot.
THICKEST, RICHEST BREWED WHITE COFFEE RESULTS
Soak the grounds by starting your shots, count to four, then stop your shot. Wait 20 seconds, and then run your shots through again as you usually would. This extra step will help get the most flavor and the most caffeine out of every draw.
STEPS TO BREW WHITE COFFEE WITH A MOKA POT
After your water has reached the boiling point, put 4 ounces into the bottom chamber. Place the filter basket and fill it with 15 grams of white coffee. Shakedown, so it is level. If you don't want to weigh it out, use two heaping tablespoons of ground white coffee
RESULTS VARY BASED ON AMOUNT OF WHITE COFFEE USED
Let the water in the bottom chamber come to a soft boil for a few minutes. Adjust the heat up or down. It should be a steady, predictable stream, and you will know it is done when the Moka Pot starts to hiss

UNIQUE BENEFITS OF WHITE COFFEE
Coffee becomes acidic during the roasting process, and because White Coffee is roasted halfway, it holds onto the Chlorogenic acid, which is known to be a powerful antioxidant. We recommend that you do your research on the health benefits of White Coffee. Other white coffee benefits include less teeth discoloration as it’s not nearly as dark as a traditional coffee.
- More Chlorogenic Acid
- Powerful Antioxidants
- Less Teeth Discoloration
- Easier on Stomachs

I don’t know WHAT HAPPENED with the quality but my last 2 orders have been downright disgusting! I don’t even know what other flavor to describe other than beyond STALE!!! The color is darker too! I think there is either FILLER in this OR they are sneaking in regular roasted coffee. It is just god-awful now and hardly palatable without milk and vanilla creamer - before I could drink it straight if I was in a hurry. Now it’s really bad and I can’t hold out hope & take another risk buying this brand again. It makes me sick to drink and tastes very OFF from how it did literally every time until these last few orders. This used to smell faintly like peanut butter, now it has an entirely new scent to it that mirrors its new flavor. I’m very unhappy and won’t be buying this coffee again. I’m trying Gravity grounds white coffee next time because this brand has done a complete 180!!!!
Original review 4/7/2024:
I’m a black coffee drinker and ex smoker. The years of smoking and savoring hot black coffee in my mouth (about 6 cups a day) had utterly destroyed my teeth into a deep yellow. Went to the dentist and got them whitened back to a bright white but was told to stop drinking black coffee, colorful spices, and bright foods/dark berries otherwise I will stain my teeth back. Well, I didn’t listen and stained my teeth… was able to have them rewhitened but now they are even MORE susceptible to being stained, so I began the quest to find a coffee that would not stain my teeth, gives me energy and most importantly, keeps my bowels regular (IYKYK!!!) but does such product EXIST? Enter WHITE TORNADO COFFEE!!
I took the plunge for $15 and bought a pound. The reviews on white coffee among all vendors was mixed, but this particular brand Poverty Bay had the most positive ones. I was desperate for a good experience - I Need Coffee. Everyone said to use a French press to make this coffee. I LOVE and PREFER French press coffee over all other preparation methods, so I brought my coffee to work and took out my trusty press.
Upon opening this coffee package, it smelled delightful. RICH and nutty, peanutty. Not hazelnutty, I hate hazelnut coffee with a passion and I’m delighted to report that this bore no resemblance in smell nor flavor. It honestly smelled like 90% Reese’s peanut butter cups, 10% coffee…yum??!! I put three heaping spoonfuls in my French press with about 20oz of hot water from my office’s hot water machine. My expectations were bleak as I watched what looked 100% like crushed peanuts leaching their sandy dark golden color and oils into the clear hot water.
The final product was very translucent but not clear, and very light colored - I spilled some decanting it from my French press into a cup, when I wiped it up with a white napkin there was no staining. Because I can’t drink hot beverages anymore (because they stain your teeth…. SIGH) I made an iced “coffee”. In my cup I poured in 4 vanilla coffee mate liquid creamers over ice, then topped my cup off with this freshly pressed concoction and stirred - see photo for before and after. The result… WOW. This stuff is delicious!!!!
It doesn’t take like regular coffee, but a more delicate, less pungent, nuttier & lighter coffee. Like a very Light roast.. without the roast, and without any acid. If you’re new to white coffee like I am, especially if you’re a black coffee drinker - adjust the bar for your expectations, hopes, and dreams for this product to Low, when I say LOW, I mean set bar in hell. It would say this resembled a black tea with milk kind of experience, but without that disgusting tea-bitter astringency, just smooth and rich light coffee with nutty flavors - mixed with vanilla flavor, it was just divine. I chugged it. It was so good that I promptly made another one with the remaining half to savor it at a slower pace. So how’s the caffeine and….. other benefits?!
Let me assure you that this has caffeine, but I swear to God, it’s an elevated type of caffeination - I felt it kick my behind into gear and wake me up, but it did so without that little *dash* of anxiety & panic I’ve grown accustomed to for that extra push in productivity. But with this coffee I’m calm and energized. About 20 minutes after drinking it I felt like I had to use the bathroom, thank God!!! Final thoughts. I’m looking forward to drinking this everyday instead of the regular black coffee that had destroyed my teeth, when I made this coffee it turned practically white with the addition of creamer and it didn’t stain my teeth at all (which would have shown immediately) this is a win and I would highly recommend it. I prefer this over coffee now!!!

- Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2024Flavor Name: coffeeSize: 16 Ounce (Pack of 1)Verified PurchaseI really don't understand some of these reviews, they seem really silly to me. If you buy this product looking to replace your normal mug of dark roasted coffee, of course you are going to be disappointed. This is a product that you would use to replace espresso, not regular ground coffee. It would be like ordering ground espresso and trying to brew a pot of coffee with it and wondering why it doesn't taste good. All of that being said, white coffee is a wonderful option for those who experience things like jitters, stomach cramps or headaches from normal dark roast espresso or regular brew coffee. The low acidity and lighter roast are a wonderful deviation from the norm, it brews thinner and more like a tea than coffee, and the mild, nutty flavor lends itself very well to creamers and sweet drinks. My personal favorite is making breves with salted caramel syrup. It tastes exactly like a maple bar! I certainly wouldnt recommend drinking it straight, just like you wouldn't fill a mug with straight espresso(at least you wouldnt if you don't hate your poor tastebuds). Poverty Bay is also a great small business, I've never had any issues with their turnaround times, shipping or anything. If you are looking for a tasty alternative because espresso hurts your tummy, I definitely recommend you give white coffee a shot. But again, if you go into this expecting it to taste like regular old coffee, you are going to be disappointed. Always read the reviews of products prior to buying! One other small note, because of the density of the grounds, they absorb more water than regular coffee and will expand, so it is very very important that you empty your press or whatever you use immediately after brewing. Poverty Bay in conjunction with my wonderful Aeropress and Keurig have saved me hundreds by preventing the need for morning coffee runs to Dutch Bros(only chain that carries white coffee). Great for my wallet and my stomach!
